My sony vaio flash memory when inserted, the removable disk icon appears in my computer but when I open it, the following message appears: ''Please insert a disk into drive G:.''
N.B My flash memory is an original sony product. :-ohcrap
 
Its corrupt. You could try formatting it, but the best thing to do with flash memory when it starts doing that is throwing it in the bin.
 
Try giving the contacts a good clean and try again, I get this now and them with my SD cards and is usually helps to clean them (often just inserting and removing them several times can do this, but best not to do it on a powered up computer)... :)
