Sad to see that Sony have jumped out of the laptop marketplace just when I thought I needed them. I have had an intermittent fault on the back light on my laptop flashing at a frustratingly high rate at times. Have trawled the web, support forums etc but nobody was reporting this fault. This morning it was particularly bad, so much so that I recorded it on my phone,
It transpires it was a bad connection on the power connector socket arcing, this was causing the laptop to switch between powered mode and battery mode the latter being set for reduced backlight on battery.
