It looks like I have a problem with the reed switch on my H180 so need to replace it, but where to buy them?

Looked on Ebay, Googled, all the usual places but only found them in Oz or from the SS, anyone got a better source for them? Happy to take a used one if someone has a duff actuator kicking around :)

Thanks S-band, just goes to show how not everything comes up on a search engine, or that I'm rubbish at using them LOL I'll order a few from CPC today.

Whenever I order components from CPC, I'm knee deep in their brochures and catalogues for months. Good value though.

Don't mind those too much - often have a few very good bargains in the clearance pages, and sometimes some unusual items that you'd never thought of buying from them (like the folding camping chairs and umbrellas we take to events like airshows!). Very good Returns policy too. OTOH, got to watch out for the prices for some standard items you can get a lot cheaper elsewhere.

I went with CPC because I've got an acc0unt already set up and have been buying their 5ltr concentrated screen wash for years :D Always a handy item to get when a few quid is needed to meet the minimum order price.

Is there a specific power rating needed for an actuator reed switch? Some of the links above have several options for the power rating?

Thx

It's a low current feed (few mA max, I think) to the pulse input of the positioner so a low power one should be fine. Size may be the determinant.
