South Italy,No TV.!!! WHY....

2 years and im going NUTS. All i want to do is watch English TV.
All i want to know is which way to point my dish!!

HELP!!!!!!

PS,live in Southern Italy,house is south facing,dish is facing south west,1.5mtr dish and is motorized with unobstructive view......

You need to point your dish at the cluster of satellites at 28E. You wont get the BBC, ITV channels and anything else on Astra 2D in south Italy with such a diddy dish though.

Roughly south south east at an elevation of about 46 degrees. If you want the BBC etc channels then something around 3.5m should give you a reasonable chance - southern Italy is in a very poor signal area for Astra 2D

with Thomson channel you are receiving Eurobird 1 at 28.5 East on the fixed beam so have a look here (fixed beam only) for details of what is available on those transponders. Quite honestly though you are going to struggle as you in the region of fringe reception and this area is not an exact science, but perhaps you need to fine tune more to receive other channels

Mmmm not the most exciting choice of channel on EB1. Theres a lot of shopping channels on there though
