SpaceX Eutelsat 36D

Seems that testing from 36 east will start at the end of September ...
October surely will be very interesting month!

I checked, it already has over azerspace 1.
According to my somewhat rough calculations, it is moving about 0,6/0,7 degrees per day towards the west.

I'm seeing a strong marker on 11.614 , linear feed on the 2.2m at the moment, and positioned at 42° East

The new all-electric Eutelsat 36D telecommunications satellite from French satellite operator Eutelsat is now on track for its target orbital position of 36°E , where it should be by the end of this week (September 15)

Thank you for this info bud. May I ask how these satellites move into their place when they are electric?

You MUST remember the tle's for satellites under active ground station control are NOT real time. They are best guess extrapolations as the tle's are only updated every few days.

So saying a satellite "is at x degrees" is not strictly accurate.

Almost @ 36e
That TLE is wrong... It is now at about 37,5°E. The expected arrival at 36°E is around September 19.

It seems that during the first week of October, a lot of testing is expected in 36 east !!
1.100 channels is a big number and 70 transponders ....

For a few days now, telemetry on the frequency 12501,00 V has been switched to circular polarity (RHCP). Yesterday, telemetry 11701,80 H, which had remained in linear polarity, was turned off.

Before the new Eutelsat 3D(Express AMU1) at 36.0E started operational (signal tests), I checked the signal on the current transponders with a Toridala 90. and lnb Ku Circular.
I hope the signal is stronger than the current one at this position.

The telemetry frequency 11701,80H has been turned back on. While the 12501,00 has returned to vertical linear polarity.

Eutelsat 36B stopped or is it my lnb ? i do not have signal since yesterday!

Last night, there were several transponders going down... probable transfer to 36D.
Unfortunately the adverse weather conditions (storms), at several moments the spectrum was almost flattened and my pc did not record everything in the best conditions.

Here are the transponders I found at 36.0E with a 1.10m dish.
As they say, you have shown what is missing/left at 36.0E, and I am posting the transponders that are still there. :)
