ssl compatability 76A vs 76D

Hi Guys
Just got my new box dm800 HD pvr simm 2.01 SSL76A. I have saved an image off of a DM800HD PVR simm 2.01 SSL76D. My question is are these compatable? I know if you are not carefull with clones you can screw them with no ca found. Is it ok to put a 76D on a 76A
 
Thanks Faz, I loaded an SSl82 image and it worked fine I think the SSL is not so relevant its the simm 2.01 as my box now shows loader 82 instead of 76a so it got updated when I loaded the image.
