finalmente e grazie al suo aiuto (tbs 6983) sono riuscito a bloccare un tp a 88 est
ovviamente non è memorizzabile a causa del segnale scarso ma finalmente riesco a bloccare lo slot sul posizionatore

That's how I started too. First create the position and then you have to wait. I have an elevation of 1.1° here at this location and everything fluctuates a lot. It's difficult to position correctly. But it worked and it's extremely DX for me.

I find the satellite at 888 east more stable than the one at 87.5 east
the china sat is very fluctuating within a few seconds it varies a lot
while ST 2 is quite stable even if I receive it very weakly

For me it's exactly the other way around. Since I have C-band on the large antenna, 87.5° East has been really good and relatively stable. At 88° I have interference in the C band and the Ku band fluctuates extremely.
