Hi guys
I have managed easily to configure my Irdeto 2 card to work with Dm500 CCcam 2.1.4, shares inbound and remotely are fine.
The strange happened when i moved to Ubuntu, i am using Ubuntu server 8.04 LTS, CCcam 2.1.4, everything seem okay but channels stayed on black screen.
CCcam web info page shows the correct card and reader in Entilitement, correct users in clients, active clients page as well showing my DM500 connected locally,
Dm500 is also showing connectivity and when i tried channel the I sign for Irdeto goes green but picture does not appear,
Tried the card many time using CC on DM, its working fine.
Hence i am getting this problem even in local stage, i though is may hardware issue, i install fresh copy of ubuntu in new pc, but nothing changed.
I give my local dream F: line as follow to enable it to update the card,
F: user user 3 0 1 {0:0:3}
In two different pc, i tried to read the card using newcs, then sharing using CC but everything stood the same, card fine, users fine, connectivty fine,
After each stage, i check if my card is a life buy putting directly into DM it picks up in second.
My last doubt was the reader, i changed the serial phoenix reade with infinity USB reader, also tried Mastra II, but nothing changed. All reader i use are able to read 6MHZ and CAID and all information appear on CC webinfo are correct.
unless CC 2.1.4 is not suitable for ubuntu 8.04 LTS, i need you help if you come across this problem before.
Is the smargo or OMNIKEY 3121 will do better to solve such problem.
