strange sound (like whistle)from tv

hi,
the problem is that when i connect the dreambox to my tv ,
a strange sound arise from TV not the box (sound like a whistle).
i tried to change the cable but the same prob.....
changed the gemini image and the same prob !!!
any help plz

Is it flat screen or CRT? Does the sound come from the speakers i.e. if you mute the set does the whistle go away?
 
i tried it at both types (flat and ctr) and still the same problem.....
yes the sound is coming from the speakers cause when i mute the sound stops....
also when i mute the dreanbox the sound stops
 
Could be interference from some other electronic gadget. Any mobile /cordless phones in the vicinity? Anything else plugged in to the TV? Process of elimination, I think. Unplug things, switch things off, try different locations for the equipment
 
did you a different cable, I will assume that is SCART lead?
Also just try the dreambox with the TV only, still the same thing?
