Cant guarantee how long this will be available or if it will work outside the UK but this site works pretty well with no player software to install:

It uses Flash streaming, and works fine on my ropey 2 meg bb connection.

512k in the Independent Republic Of Yorkshire (El Presidente: Boycott.G) gets it fine.

They "Max'd" our connection a few weeks ago and though still slooooow, it is at least stable, whereas it used to drop out every few minutes before and video was a no no (no, no, no).

Works but the aspect ration on the Virgin 1 Voyager program I am watching is distorted

Does anyone have any idea how this is done?,

For example do they have about 55 TV cards in PC's for streaming.
Or would just one PC card handle this?. Just need good speeds on the hosting company?

It seems like a very nice Idea.

Doesn't work here in Canada (Acces Denied (Non UK) Message)
Too bad though, looks like a cool site.
Thanks anyway.

At least you have many streaming websites that in any other country would get the message

Access Denied (Non USA)

Try this little app. _https://dl.getdropbox.com/u/1808775/britishtv-windows.zip

It's a little DOS app, type in the number of the channel you want to watch in the command window and press enter.

May work ok :D

No I haven't. They usually ask a lot of money for this service.
Is there a free UK proxy server or how to setup one?

Unfortunately they have this note:
We've had to remove access to the BBC iplayer for the time being, it was chewing our bandwidth at an alarming rate, sorry about this. if we get hold of some more bandwidth we'll switch it back on.

Cheers mate.:)
