Streaming Over Internet

2 Meter Dish 3 LNBs Dreambox DM500HD x3
My Location
MALTA
I have tried to stream my dream box locally within my network and it works fine.. but when i stream from my office (over the internet) it is very slow and laggy) I do have 2mbps upload but i think it it was possible to decrease the quality of the stream it will be much better.. is that possible.

There should be some old posts in the Dreambox forum on VLC settings if you're using this to stream? What image are you using, how are you streaming (client/ server software)?
 
I am using Gemini 2.5

I stream over network internaly it works ok and very fast.. when i stream over internetits now not working at all.. i use the control pannel dreambox over the internet and i click on teh vlc link.. it start to open but just stops after a second.. can you confimr what ports / software / plugins i need please
