i know this has been covered but it`s doing my head in.

i can stream over Lan no problems, i can access webinterface using remote no-ip address, but when i try to stream it wont work (tried media player and vlc),anyone with any advice please?
 
One thing to remember is that if you're streaming from home, the upload speed will be very much lower than your download speed.
 
Make sure that the streaming port is open on your router at home

I think port 31344 is the default port, take a note when you try and open the stream from the webif with vlc it should tell you the port if you check the playlist

Does Web-X-TV not work from the webif?

What does VLC say when you try to open it over the web?
 
Hello,
You can also try to use VODOBOX Flash Server if you upload speed is too bad. This software can transcode your input stream before streaming but you need to have a computer.
