Struggling with Bundles

My Satellite Setup
Dream Machine 7020Si and 90cm fortec dish
My Location

I've followed instructions get get a satanbundle on the DB, but nothing is happening. What else am I suppose to do ??? Has anyone got any idea's
 
Try the HackSat key updater. It's on the site - search should find it.

FTP the unzipped file into /tmp and do a manual install from:

blue panel > addons > manual install
 
I've done that but nothings happened. What should I do next ???

Please expand upon your statement somewhat, 'nothing happens' does not explain what you are expecting to happen nor does it tell anyone what precisely you are doing to try and make it happen. For example what satellite are you pointing at what channels are you receiving already what channels are you trying to open. In order for anyone to tell you what is your next step you must say what you have done so far

i have a dreambox 500s an i have put gemini img n cams n satankey bundel but still am not getting any channels open can some one help me please as i am new to all this my system is db 500s,1m orbitel motorized dish,universal lnb as i am trying to get all the cartoons 4 the kids an all other channels i have just got mtv base n mtv pulse them r the only 2 opened luky lee am my setting is on auto cam but it dont seem to be changeing auto i have few cams and the only one is workin is mgcam....?

Whoooooaaaaaa syed please try to use a few points and commas here and there, these long single sentense posts are impossible to read :).

1)Keys: When you say you have "put them in", did you do it by ftp -ing them to the var/temp and then installing them manually?
2) To begin with, I would not use the autocam, simply put in CCcam, don't forget to download the camconfig for the cccam as well.
3) I still don't understand which satellite you are pointing at. If it is Astra 28 east then you can forget about any "free" channels. If you are pointing to 19 east, then you can try Premiere channels, or on 1 west the digi TV channels have a lot of kids stuff on it, many in English.

am i bit confused i did ftp in db to var/tem but i dint do n e manualy
an mhku what do u mean by plugins what do i select in plugins as i am after all the Premiere channels basicly all the ones from astra 2 but 4rm different sat 4 example as hotbird 19.2e thats what am locked on an i want sports i lyk wwe wrestling,asian ones it will be realy great if u kan help me please thank you..........?

sorry pal rite i have done the ftp process with a ftp software that's has bin done successfully.i dnt know how to manually put it in.i have been on the plug ins but there is only text and start n stop n grab recording what shall i do...?

What img are you using? If Nabolsat go to blue panel press red button on remote and downloading of keys will start.

If you using Hacksat script, did you rename it to hacksat_userscript.sh so it can show up and run in the User scripts?
If running
does it give you any message or does it say

Execution Progress:

Execution finished!!!

If the above message is the only one you get, it means your chmod (Permissions) is not set to 755 for the script.


for syed you mentioned you got mtv base , this means your keys are working. Either use mgcam or CCcam as mentioned by T_G.
Point your dish to a location which the keys unlock like hotbird 13.
Remeber not all channels will be unlocked from your list.

ving the same issues!!! was just looking through the posts to see if ne 1 could help!

im running a 5620 with newcamd, have the satan key bundle, but that seems to be for all the cam emulaters!
have just put them in corresponding folders! ie var -> var scce ... etc
only thing thats opened up is a few on 1w thats it!!!
am i supposed to install the key bundle or just copy to folders?
im new to all of this and am learning by the second....
ne ideas folks?

For anyone who wants to install zipped key bundles:

You ftp the zipped file into var/temp
Then you press the blue button, addons, manual install. You should see your file there, then choose install. If your file is not correct then you won't see it on the manual install file. After you installed, you wil have to activate the cam, also blue button.
 
tried that as well!!!
ive just downloaded cccam as well (just incase i was doing something worng manually installing in newcamd.
i copied the satan keybundle (zip) to var/tmp and nothind seems to be there!!!
lol now i want to scream grrrr
what the fin n geffin am i doing wrong!! lol

ive even tried deleting cam and starting again downloading newcamd complete from db net interface! do i need to download nething else for newcamd to work!

i would like to use newcamd and ne1 know what my keys folder shouls look like!
is it poss that ive just bunged all the unused stuff in there to and thats confusing the cam for where to look?

oh forgive my ignorance, but did you mean ftp the zipped file to var/tmp or un zip it and ftp the contents to the var/tmp folder
 
hahahah ok ok! found out it has to be a .gz file!!!!
ported that to var/tmp installed it, restarted dreambox and still only get a few unlock on 1w, im after premier etc etc on 19.2 mostly! but when i go onto france4 (which i have been told thats where it unlocks) i dont even get a message... not even 'could not descramble' just black screen!!!
ne ideas guys!

ps thanks for the info on blue button install....

Here's how to do a manual install:

1. Download the file from your favourite site. It will probably be .tar.bz or .gz or similar.

2. FTP this file (do not unzip or unrar it) into /tmp (/var/tmp may work but it's not where I FTP them).

3. If using Gemini (other images may have different buttons/ options) press:

blue button > addons > Manual install

4. You will see your recently FTPd file listed. If not then it has not been recognized.

5. Select your file and press the green button to Install it. Ensure there is enough room if you use a DM500s

6. If your install has been sucessful you can now use whatever you installed.

If this a cam/ emu go to:

blue panel > Auto-Cam setup

If you installed a plugin go to:

blue panel > plugins

and select your recently installed plugin. If this was the HackSat plugin select it and press OK. Use the < > remote keys to highlight the emu that you use and press OK. It will now download and install the latest keys if you have an internet connection.

NB: not many channels are open these days so don't expect to see much. If you have a specific channel question please start a new thread.

Premiere on 19.2E is still open; nothing on 28.2E is "open".
 
hmmmm!
i now know how i should have installed the heys originally!! lol

but....

using the satan bundle i can only open up a few on 1w and nothing else at all!!!

but using the hacksat plugin i get sod all to clear!!!

both dont come up with ne comments when i got to either france 4 on 13e or 19e

ps where would i start a new thread for what im looking for!!!

how do i clear premier???
