Hello..

As some of you may know i have a 80cm dish on a scaffold pole on the ground..

I also have a Manhattan Starlight Mx :S

My problem..

Im watching channels on hotbird.. then all of a sudden.. FREEZE.. then i have to reboot.. so today i got too sick of it :S

Got worsley meter out, dish wasnt too clever.. was getting 91 signal 59 strenth..

That was crap so i tweaked it and got 96 signal and 86 strenth.. perfect :)

But it still freezes.. How the bloody.. the dish doesnt move at all it doesnt have any play whatsoever..

What could the problem be??
 
Are you having to reboot because the box locks up? If so, then it probably isn't anything to do with the signal, more to do with the receiver software ar a receiver fault, is it patched?.
 
Sorry it has a Matrix Rev cam in .. Just been watching an fta channel and it didnt lock up... only does it on S channels..

Im getting a technomate box cant be bothered with cam shyte :)
