suggestion on dvb-s decoder

hi folks,

I currently have a setup which is rather outdated: dish, dual-lnb pointing to eutelsat on 13° + astra on 19° and analog decoder

lots of analog channels are dying, and we're almost in 2010, so I was thinking of going digital

I was thinking of buying a digital decoder and connecting it directly to the 13° lnb, where I should see hotbird

  • do you think this setup would work?
  • any suggestions on a decoder? I'm not particularly fussy, but I would like an hdmi output (I don't have a nice TV now, but I might purchase one soon)
