My Satellite Setup
fortec star 5100 ultra, 80cm dish pointing at 13 east hotbird
My Location
newcastle
I currently have a fixed dish on 13 deg. with a fortec 5100 ultra attached to it but now i fancy something new to play with, this is where you guys come into it. should i get either;

Dreambox 7020 or motorise my exsisting dish?

I cant afford to do them both together so i was wondering what you guys think i should get first?

A Dreambox pointing at 13 East is bit of a waste as these receiver come into their own when they can scan the satellites.

My advice would be to motorise your existing set-up and see what's available.

Then buy a Dreambox 500 and sort that out - you can move onto the bigger boxes later.

To get the best out of the more advanced Dreamboxes you should have a PC connected and a Broadband connection minimum.

I would start with a motorised dish - you'll get a load more channels that way.
