Looks a proper "you can't bend it" job, Martin.

(Well, it will be when the stops are set!)

to prevent dish hitting pole, you perhaps need to make additional hook to the pole. For example:

Here is how I made mechanical adjustable stop. With it you can stay pointed directly to most-East (West) satellite and even without actuator.Screen_29 Jan. 10 18.25.jpg

That looks like a good job rima, on my old actuator I set stops in the actuator and I will with this new one, the dish will now run the full arc even though there is not much around the ends,

But I like to tinker like yourself :)

Of course, you should be careful with mechanical stop and not let actuator push antenna behind that.
When I set this stop then extend actuator to it's maximum and then fix it to mount.

But, TBH, actuator should be installed to antenna only when antenna is already tuned to all arc. I have special tool to quickly move antenna by hands. On that plank is also possible to make some pencil-marks to remember satellite positions.

OK, if you bolt one side of wooden plank to movable part of antenna. make lots of holes in other side of plank (to be able to change position of antenna). Make mechanical stop and remove actuator. Than that probably will work

Something like this: Maybe you need bigger plank and more holes. Attach it instead of actuator.

Thank you, I only fixed that on to fit the new actuator to keep my settings in place all I need to do now is swing the dish E and W just so it misses the pole and set stops.

I do not think you will need 2 stops. One is enough, the second one will be actuator itself when it is in shortest position.

There is two wheels in the actuator on is a west stop one is east stop you have to take a screw out and move them around to were you want them to stop east and west is very important one stop will be no good in my situation.
