I did have a gbox300(green in colour).

It was good while it lasted, died on me just after a year:mad:

telia, the gbox 3000 v500 or whatever they are called, have you noticed any high pitched buzzing noise coming from it ?

i've had a few positioners and all of them have seemed to emit a buzzing noise coming from the psu in it.

also on the v500 model you can use a satellite name instead of a number how does that work, can you select hotbird for example as a postion name ?

Yes the V500 got higher quality components inside and yes it works by choosing the satellite name and it moves.

Also, there is no signal loss like with Jaeger vbox, i have noticed some signal loss which i could see improvement with V500 on Nilesat which is weak for me.

Will the Gbox work with a Dreambox DM800 and Starjack DiSEqC 1.2 H-H Motor? Im currently having problems with no motor movement using the DM800.
