Cue the Lady Penelope impersonations.

RIP....M'Lady...

No, no - that's Parker, played by the peerless David Graham. Still with us fortunately although I believe he lives in Australia now.

But still, a sad day as yet another bit of my childhood slips away. She, together with then husband Gerry, had a huge impact on my early years.

RIP Sylvia.

Apparently ...'that would be all ..Parker' RIP

RIP Sylvia, your adventures played a big part in many of our formative years

Time to lighten the mood with a Lady Penelope / Parker joke from when I was at school:

Parker, take off my top.
Yes m'lady.

Parker, take off my skirt.
Yes m'lady.

Parker, take off my bra.
Yes m'lady.

Parker, take off my panties.
Yes m'lady.

Thank you Parker. Now don't let me catch you wearing them again.

There was one episode of Stingray which included a dream or delirium sequence (perhaps the rapture of the title in fact) where Marina spoke. Perhaps this is that episode?

Ah, yes. Lady Penelope and Servalan were amongst my first fantasy crushes. Oddly, Judith Chalmers was in there somewhere, too.

RIP Sylvia.

I'd been a masturbatory fantasy for an entire generation of young men. I mean, that made a girl feel good. (On her role in Blakes 7 (1978))
Not Judith Chalmers
