As far as I know not possible at this moment. Would be nice though...As I don't think you can speed up a box it needs to be a device that delays the signal to the other box. Maybe one of the technical masterminds here knows how to build one? Can't it be a simple thing that is fitted in line with the cable from the LNB with a potentiometer so that the delay time can be adjusted?
No it does not work. I have a digibox on 28 and watch football on 13, and the digibox is faster. The PC card working on the same LNB is altogether different, it is a thing connected with the receiver or summing...
The best answer was posted on Satdudez - get a DAB radio with the delay function (NB they don't all have this function). But they're still quite expensive at the moment.
The other option if you can get C+Deporte 1/2/3 on 30°w you will find the delay isn't as bad as with TPS.
1 metre motorised dish ,Technomate V-box, Spiderbox 7000HD box, Windows0n desktop and laptop,. and couldnt live without Promax Prodig 5 TV Explorer.. Oh , and now ipad - so much easier and convenient
There is another thread on this subject.
I have the same problem 5live on slybox and dreambox on T*S. The conclusion on the other thread was that on the slybox you have a choice of radio stations. The regional ones (not as good as 5live) will also have the match live and probably more in sync with the video. Also the regional ones are more bias to the team you support which is great to listen to. Try listening to a newcastle match on metro radio.
The other alternative is to use the record delay function on the box. I haven't tried this yet.
The new version of Realplayer will delay radio streams. It has a slide bar to do this.
As may have been mentioned earlier the R5 live internet commentry streams are behind the video from Eurosats, therefore you need to delay the video , which aint option with a Dream Box as far as I know.
my pc is upstairs and my satellite is downstairs so i cant use me pc to synchronise it.
and how can you be listening to sky and be watching the match on the same tv? it's impossible.
