@dreamsat,You're right to think about it on nearby satellites, but the signal is too strong for the reflection to come from Arabsat, plus I had to move the antenna a little further east than 30.5E.I rarely had useful signal in this part of the band from Arabsat.

Does anyone know what beam these are supposed to be on? Not getting anything whatsoever here in the UK, not even the slightest hint of a signal!

Here's what the Turksat 5A map looks like.By the looks of it, you should be able to receive the satellite even in your area?it's also true that not everything on the map matches on the ground.

I suspect it's from Arabsat too, if they were from the Turksat 5A Europe beam, I'd certainly be getting something!

Very poor weather here at the moment in Central UK but here's a scan of Turk 5A on a dedicated Upper extended Ku lnbf done at 5.45 PM aprox - no sign of any other signals H or V apart from the one shown.

Nothing here either, in the north east 1.2M.

Thank you for doubting Turksat's reception, and that the signal posted here is coming from one of the Arab satellites, which I would love to get, because I've never received transponders from Arabsat 6A, and the map of this satellite does not have such good coverage in my area.
What makes me agree with you, however,is the fact that the TV programs broadcast are from the Middle East(LBC,etc).

I looked for a map of Arabsat 5/6A and,as you can see,the (MENA)beam does not cover Ku-band in Europe. In fact, tendency in recent years of Arab Providers is to withdraw in their coverage area(MENA).
I wonder if it is an accident the signal I am getting from Arabsat in my area. It is too strong to be true.
Here's what the signal(of DTH) is right now:

Those are pretty strong signals if they are some sort of reflection from Arabsat! If they are actually from the new Turksat, they must be on a spot beam of some sort and not the Europe wide one.

You're right @SatSearcher, the signal is coming from Arabsat 6A!Good thing you woke me up...:)

All these channels you've spotted at 30.9E are definitely reflections from Arabsat 6A uplinks. Suprisingly signals at your (and Milan58s) location are extremely strong, I only get traces from it (up to 2.5 dB).

Now this position really is live.

I hope that this time there will not be a mistake with Turksat 5A at 30.8E,which,as you can see,are transponders with Turksat Tanitim.

Now look at all these goodies a new blindscan at 30.5E (not even centered at 30.9E) just brought.
All these (I only receive the first two from 30.5 directly) are reflections of the Arabsat uplinks that illuminate my area with extreme signals! And they are exactly 500Mhz apart from their original frequencies.
30.5 scan.webp
Only 11160H is Turksat Tanitim, even the Tele Liban feed has the hell of a signal half a degree away from 30.9E!
