Just giving some info on the T-Rex working with the Nokia 9800s. It takes about 4 to 5 min. for the T-Rex to start working for the first time you shove it in the CI slot. It even shut down once and made the Nokia re-start(must be from the crypto ids)! Fiddling with the Nokia menu makes the process faster(?). After that, pressing menu on the remote shows the module menu(num. 8) highlighted. It then takes a while for it to open some channels, with the sound not coming after 4 to 5 sec. or so. But after 15 min., everything is stable. You do see some pixellisation on the option menu when you change for example, the language, but no problems so far. At the start, It would not initialize for after 5 min. or so, but now, when you go from standby to on, it takes about 5 sec. or so. Works with the Sky card, Channels 4, Five and Sky Three are o.k. My subscription channels work also(NASN & Setana Sports).

Thanks for the info, didn't realize there were other CAMs out there which were also capable of emulating N*S Video*uard ($ky), I always thought it was just the Dragon CAM and the various softcams on the DreamBox.

No satellite stuff for the moment (aside from a 43cm minidish that was on the house already), Samsung SyncMaster T27B550 Smart TV & Monitor, and a few computers...

Actually, since my post three weeks ago, I learned that the T-Rex is just the new name for the old Dragon. I wonder why no one bothered to correct me for three weeks.

Thanks guys!

Well there's a number of possibilities here

1. Everyone wanted to avoid confilict as some people take offence and do not like to be corrected. :(

2. Everyone assumed you knew that and were just using the new name to keep up to date.

3. Nobody read your post

4. Those that read it did not understand it. :p

I cannot believe any of those..... as you said perhaps they could not be bothered O-Ha

I upgraded my nokia 9800s with VA 1.0 and had better response with dragon cam vers. 3.01.

FYI VA 1.0 is latest downloadable s/w for 9800s and it is an upgrate to MA 2.09.
:)
