Mate CJ, this choice is ok only because price, unfortunately I had 3 TBS 6925 cards and every was broken with DVB-S2 reception after some months or one year with too, tooooooooo much.... (maybe that is reason!!!!) feedhunting with that card........, hours and hours per days......months........, please be prepared for that......., and rarely use to keep longer in life this great receiver.......:YSorry for my post like this. Anyway good luck with this card, I hope you will be happy for years with this card. :Y

Good thing it's not for me then! (I don't even have a PC to plug PCI-e cards into)

I do have a USB 5925, which I think is the same/similar chipset but I rarely use and it works so far...

I have 2 TBS 5925 (also 2 Prof Rev 7500), but please use that also rarely, one time dimmed, replaced some condensator and added stronger part inside, but still after some hours heat too much, I put 5925 now on little usb cooler the same size from ebay, but what is wrong.....:-dohafter some period card is on temp lower than needed working temp for normal work and stopped to work and you need to disconnect coller.....:-lmao:-rofl2:-doh

Yes, it does get too hot for my liking - need to mod it in some way.
