The card knows symbol rate lower than shows technical specification-139 Ks. Found on Intelsat 902 at 62.0E in C-band.

Are you testing this model satesco? Looks to be a good replacement for the TBS6925/5925 - when it is on general release.

Yes,@Llew.There are a few things that should be developed.I must admit that this card has great potentialities and if Crazycat will provide support,it will be the first in the parking lot :)
Here's another low symbol rate, found on Hispasat. There are many on other satellites.Look on FlySat.

Did you use a PLL LNB?

Is this the one with the four RF inputs to an stv6120 tuner, going to an stv0910adb demodulator? The specs on those look very promising.
I'm sure Crazycat will support it when he gets round to checking the card out.

I use Inverto Black Ultra for offset dish with scale rings on PFA .This combination gave the best performance of all LNBs used, including Invacom.About all this, you can read here
Here is another example: Blindscan on Yamal 402 at 54.9E

Satesco do these low symbolrates also reliably lock after being found with this card, even using an IBU (without PLL stability)?

...particularly overall sensitivity of the tuner compared with your existing PC cards?

It's a good question, I think, for all types of lnbs, not only for IBU.This tuner is very sensitive, find very weak signal when searching with TBS Blindscan.Simply grab the signal be it as low, but that doesn't mean it lock with other tools. And when using a sensitive LNB, like IBU, and equally sensitive tuner, like SVT6120, give very good results. But that does not mean you lock any weak signal regardless of the quality LNB,especially if the signal has large fluctuations in the fringe area. For example, recently I received with this tuner a transponder on NSS-12 at 57.0E from the East Africa spot.I used the 1.50 m antenna. After the coverage map of the spot,it is impossible that with such an antenna to receive the signal useful. And yet,the tuner has caught the signal from the transponder-11605 H,45000,4/5,but of course I could not lock with any player.Because the signal is very, very low, parameters found by Blindscan are changed, ie the modulation and FEC.In conclusion, of course a good LNB help, but more important is the quality of the received signal. That everyone knows,so do not expect miracles. And yet, with this IBU I managed to lock signal with low symbol rate.

I'm sure Crazycat will support it when he gets round to checking the card out.
CrazyCat wrote me yesterday in ICQ chat he is waiting for the TBS 6983 sample. Unfortunately, there is unexpected delay in shipping of the parcel. Anyway this new card will be supported in CrazyScan for sure.

Is this a prototype or final testing of pre release hardware? Just wondering when the projected launch date is and is there an expected retail price?

I do not know more details about when it will be release and hardware versions.
Those who want to know more about this card and the lasted products, can inform directly from Turbosight stand/booth once with IBC exhibition in Amsterdam in 12-16 September,2014.

Using StreamReader file's Crazycat,EBS Scan2 reads properly other parameters of transponders(fec, coding mode, etc),but not SNR yet. I have enabled TSReader from Scanner transponders list and the application works(TSR and VLC player)
I did a scan with EBS using the StreamReader's Crazycat on Eutelsat 21B at 21.6E.If someone wants to compare list of transponders generated by TBS Blindscan and EBS Pro,I've uploaded here.

Thanks. Will be ordering one when funds permit :)

satesco, I've received and installed the TBS6983 card and driver 1.0.04.
Updated EBSPro to the latest version, 11.0.0.3.
TBS6983 driver found in EBSPro, but I get the message 'RF Scan not supported', although I have 'Streamreader Ex-BDAtbs6983fix' installed. Is this the correct Streamreader to use? I tried 1.2.0.1221 (latest version?) but get the same message.
Any help would be appreciated.

It's correct, not supported :) only BLScan2 via TBS BlindScan interface (like old tbs x921)
