I just started mine. I put Astra 2,28E on it.
Picture needs improvement on the SD channels, compared to what I had over a 12 years old Comag.
Would like to know from other Technisat users.
A few elements missing from the instructions for use
I'd like to add Astra19/hotbird13E (from a monoblock)
1)how to improve picture sharpness
2) how to manage the 2 possible satellite connections
3) I have a monoblock with Hotbird 13Eas 1/astra 19E as 2
how can i "explain" this to the receiver?

I believe the Technisat expects both inputs to have access to the same satellites. Does the manual mention DiSEqC 1.1?

The manual has Selecting reception signals, Number of antenna signals (DVB-S / S2) and Antenna configuration (DVB-S / S2), hasn't it?
What's the problem?

I'm using a monoblock 13E/19E
and a single on 28E.
i think the receiver tried to get 19Eusing the 13E & 13E using the 19E
I couldn' t find where to attribute a slot/number to each lnb like i usually do.
1)19E
2)13E
3)28E on 2nd entry.
I read the whole instructions auf Deutsch (236 pages) & found no evocation of monoblocks.
I set up just 28E,works fine
However,PBS causes the receiver to stop-and-go on a 30second rythm.
Other channels work fine
Also,no picture sharpness improvement. The SD UK channels are pretty foggy -blurred versus what my former Comag gives.

Could be that @ozumo addressed that issue? So that it is impossible?
After googling: The manual says indeed: Damit Sie den vollen Funktionsumfang Ihres Gerätes bei der Aufnahme und Wiedergabe nutzen können, sollten Sie daher unbedingt zwei getrennte Antennenzuleitungen (Antennensignale) mit identischer Belegung verwenden.

A possible solution then would be to have a twin monoblock and twin LNB, and combine them in the usual diseqc 1.0 way for monoblock + extra LNB (it says somewhere that diseqc 1.1 is not supported with this Digiplus?). So that each port has all three satellite positions available.
With single monoblock and LNB, you'd have to combine them as in the sentence above, and use only one input port of the receiver.

i think the receiver tried to get 19Eusing the 13E & 13E using the 19E
That would mean that the diseqc commands of 13E and 19E must be swapped/modified.

DIGIPLUS UHD S has a 'short instruction' in german AND english.

I don't know the receiver, so don't know about PBS or the picture sharpness (maybe some HDMI mode of your screen?).

PBS(USA Public broadcasting system) is an SD channel part of the 28E bunch. It has a low definition & often shows documentaries from the analogue age. I ve had it for 20 years,no issue.

How can I modify the diseqc commands of 13E and 19E ?
Are there "hidden menus" which deal with this?
Ihave used 2 successive receivers before . Both have a menu dealing with "Antenna settings",and a "sat list" where Imust give each sat a number of the LNB that receives it.
LNB 1 is 28E
LNB2 is monoblock 13E and 19E
I wonder how to do this on the Technisat

It's described around pages 64 to 68 of the (german 236 pages) manual.
I assume you must choose "user defined", to get to the diseqc possibilities.

Thank you very much,mijnheer A33!!
My German is rusty,or rather more "social" ,as in,meeting nice German people, than technical.
You opened my eyes!
Have a good day!

Another (small) mystery,the 11343 V 27500 has about 35 channels.
Among which I quite like PBS which, despite a very low pic quality, has interesting stuff,"quality" US documentary films.

Whenever I put it on,the Technisat receiver breaks out, shows a black screen with "Technisat "in large letters...
after 60 seconds it winds back to PBS,shows it 30 seconds & turns black-with-Technisat again & performs that as a routine.
All other channels on same transponder work ....normally.
I tried changing definition ,format...to no avail!
I had no Pb watching PBS with other receivers...ever.

11343V has a "brother" at 11344H, according to lyngsat and kingofsat.
So there might be interference.

Can you try adjusting the LNB skew, to see if that improves things? (And after that maybe shifting the LNB more towards the dish, or from the dish?)

P.S. What sentence of mine opened your eyes?

just the necessity of reading pages 64 to 68 ;using a translator to understand the complicated way the German language uses to describe such technicalities. And my lack of training ,reading technical stuff in German, since English and French usually cover my needs.

You may find the receiver is not happy with the resolution of the PBS broadcast, the frame conversion of historic footage or the full screen format wher much will be original 4;3

my surprise is ,the previous receivers did well with that channel. I have an older partially working receiver ,which still likes PBS...and the HD stuff all the same.

If it is a 4:3 format issue, you can try if other settings do work better.
See manual page 49 to 52, Screensettings / Zoom.
Or "zoom" on your remote control

i must try all combinations...
The problem is the PBS picture disappears after 3 seconds!!!
I get a black screen with a huge "Tecnhnisat " on it...
then pure black, then 3 seconds of PBS....like a merry go round in 3 stages ...
1)PBS,3 seconds/
2)black with technisat/
3)black with nothing/
PBS 3 seconds....
On the old Comag PBS works normally...i use the1080p norm combined with Auto

Mind you, the "format" e.g. 4:3 setting is different from the "resolution" e.g. 1080p setting.

But you already tested this, here?

From what I understood of the manual, you can set the default format for all programs?
When you then choose PBS, you can check how that holds under the new setting. If not, try another default setting for all programs, and test PBS again. That might be better than your 3 seconds trial and error?

It 's even stranger than what I first thought!
1) the ads on PBS are read fully without a jump;
2)a relatively new documantary about Trump was perfectly digested ,ads included;
3) then,a documentary including 1950-ish footage came up and bliip the black screen technisat routine resumed.
Other channels, like Rewind or Talking pictures, also carry old footage. No problem whatsoever... films and ads are read...
