Technisat uhd s receiver set up problem

My Satellite Setup
FreesatfromSky
Freesat [Humax HDR 1000S]
Fta(9E/13E/19E/28E) [Fixed Triax TD88]
1.1M motorised satellite dish [unbranded]
My Location
UK
Anyone own or have any experience with this or other Technisat 4K receiver
This particular 4K twin tuner pvr came with a German manual, and the Technisat website has no English or German online manual for this model.
So I have attempted set up using translation and using the English manual for the Technisat ISIO DIGIT STC:https://www.technisat.com/assets/medias/docus/109/$v2/BDA_KURZ_DIGIT_ISIO_STC_STC+_EN.pdf
I had assumed that my current satellite set up:LNB 1 multi lnb (Triax TD88 28E/19E/13E/9E) and LNB 2 Zone 2 minidish 13E/19E monoblock would work out, without any issues
However,I am finding no signal on various channels on all the satellites.
I tried swapping the lnbs with the monoblock signal to LNB 1 and the multi lnb signal to LNB 2,however the problem remains.
I‘ve contacted Technisat a couple of times, but I am still waiting for a reply from their specialist support team
From what I understand from the Technisat ISIO DIGIT STC manual, the signal from both lnbs should be identical, for the pvr to work
I find that this shouldn’t be case as the pvr states it works with diseqc and a motor
If this is the case,I will have to return the receiver reluctantly.
Thanks for any input

"Simple" thought - have you checked that the receiver's LNB oscillator frequency is set to the correct Ku band one of 9750-10600 MHz as I have come across many that are set for C band by default???

1. So some channels you do receive? Is there a pattern to which channels you do receive, and which you don't?

2. Can you post pictures of your tuner-, LNB-, and diseqc-setup-menus?

3. Are the storm-related issues you had on your dish, now over?

Yes,it’s definitely set to KU band lnb setting
Its described as standard lnb in the settings

A33,thanks for the reply
I tried setting up the Technisat UHD S,prior to the storm problems, they are more or less resolved, apart from 9E,which has lost signal
on most transponders, receiving 11919V,might be just a matter of lnb skew
1.There seems to be no pattern to the channels receive/not received, note I updated the channel lists several times prior to and after scanning to ensure the channel frequencies were up to date
I have just reconnected the working set up again, currently no signal at all on 19E,no signal on 13E,some channels received on 28E eg BBC/CH4,no signal showing at all for 9E,despite the fact I am receiving signal on 11919V

In what you posted, I see no obvious thing that is wrong.
Without seeing what possibilities could be chosen, it is hard to see what the settings are.

Some questions, to begin somewhere:
1. The 28E channels you receive, do you receive them with the LNB you want? (When holding your hand before the LNB, does the reception disappear?)
2. Do you receive them at the proper frequencies? ~ LOF-setting-issues
3. Did you use blind scan, or other scan method with preset transponder frequencies? ~ LOF drifting issues
4. Did you check reception while bypassing the diseqc switches? ~ diseqc issues/ voltage issues
5. Do you have another receiver, to check/confirm that dish alignment is right?

Greetz,
A33

As I said before, both the lnbs have been literally been disconnected from a working Topfield Srp-2100 twin pvr,and apart from 9E (which is storm related),I was receiving all the channels from Astra 1 and 2,and Hotbird.
There appears to be no blind scan setting, only extended search, which I have tried several times.
I am conducting one right now using only one lnb connected to tuner 1 (Triax TD multi-lnb)
On first setup it auto installs, but since then I have carried out automatic and extended search several times
I haven’t checked reception,by bypassing the diseqc switch,I’ll try that,as I have read previously that some recievers become flaky with certain diseqc switches,if that’s the case any recommendations for a 4/1 diseqc switch
Thanks A33

If you do need to change the switch, you can't go very wrong by buying one from EMP-Centauri - but buy it from "sattvnoone" on eBay as "he" seems to be just a marketing "name" used by EMP-Centauri to sell directly to the public at lower prices than direct from their own website at their "list prices" (the latter route is distinctly more time-consuming and expensive - as I have found!).

EMP-Centauri "consumer grade" DiSEqC switches are listed here on their website

PS: and their tech support is pretty good.

So, if that's what you wanted to buy then why was it was it "unavailable" because it does seem "available" at the moment?
(it's a bargain at that price!)
Thats what I thought!
I tried a few times,at various times, when I attempt to purchase it,l get the same unavailable message
See photos

Just tried to "buy" that unit via my own eBay a/c and got all the way to "Go to checkout" but then I got the message "Sorry, we can't complete your checkout at this time. Please try changing your item quantity or check your account status."

So, quite a different message but with possibly similar implications! :confused

So I have just sent the following eBay message to "sattvnoone" - and let's see what the response is like!
"
Good afternoon,

According to the eBay listing, you have a large number of these units for sale.

However, a friend in the UK tried to purchase this unit yesterday, but then got a message that it is "unavailable from this seller", and now I have just tried to do the same thing but I got a different message "Sorry, we can't complete your checkout at this time. Please try changing your item quantity or check your account status".

Therefore please can you explain the situation?"

PS: I've got the larger 16+terrestrial i/p to 1 version down the garden, bought via the same route, and it works pretty well.

I'm slightly concerned the pricing (on eBay UK) is prioritised in $ as opposed to sterling, perhaps the seller prefers orders to come through eBay.com.

I think that "sattvnoone" has been advertising in US$ on eBay uk for quite a long time - when I bought the 16-1 switch in Dec 2018, the price was quoted as "US $44.00" but PayPal charged me £36.76, and the unit arrived (in a package sealed with EMP-Centauri tape and with one of their invoices inside!) around a week or so after the order was placed. Therefore I somehow doubt that that's the issue right now - but hopefully we will know more when (if?) I get a reply to my ebay message to the seller.
