Can someone please advise me what the angle of the motor arm is when the arm is set at 0 ,on the azimuth scale (that is at ground level) and at the same time what the latitude reading would be on the motor housing scale which is from 15 to 65.Thanks.

The Latitude setting on the motor will depend on where you are in South Africa. Durban is 30 Cape Town and PE are about
35, Jo.burg is about 26 . This setting will have to be set up at installation. I assume that "motor arm" is "motorised arm" and
as such is not adjustable. The pole that the whole assembly fixes to MUST be absolutely vertical for the dish to track the arc.
To find your "top of the arc satellite you will need to know your longtitude and which satellite that is a) able to be received is SA and b) is positioned above the equator and nearest to your longtitude. We in UK are lucky because we can receive the output from so many satellites Most of UK uses 1w but Ireland and The West country use 5W or even 8w.

Thanks Mate but that is not exactly what i asked. From the requested info i want to establish a formula to calculate what the angle would be of the motorised arm at any given latitude.
