Hi there,
Does anyone know how to add Satellites to my Technomate 7100HD?? Also is this something I need to do manually every so often or....??

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Add the Clarke Tech Editor to your pc then you can add & sort all satellites,

Adding new satellites manually in Satellites use unused satellite then sort in sequence with the editor & reload via usb stick on your receiver.

Hi there,
I know it's been ages since I came on here, but out of desperation I've come back to try and sort out my satellite system!!

I am ending up with loads of satellites that either don't have the channels on that I used to enjoy watching, or that particular satellite has nothing on it!!!

So I just tried to use the Clarke Tech Editor, but when I did the satellite list was empty and all the relevant headings were grey out!!

What am I doing wrong???

No the dish is fine as I can still watch all the English, Polish, French etc - I've lost all the Dutch FTA as that satellite they've moved to isn't in my list of satellites that were already programmed into the Tech 7100HD Receiver!

Is there anyway you can just add the odd satellite, or do I have to Clarke Tech Editor??? I'm worried that I might completely mess up the Tech 7100HD Receiver!!!!

What is your current dish set up is it fixed or motorised ?
 
What is your arc ? 45 east to 30 west ?
Are you using USALS to control the motor ?
Have you set up your Longitude & Latitude for your current location ?
Aligned the dish on your reference satellite ?
Is the pole that it is mounted on dead vertical ?

Astra @ 28.2 east
Astra @19.2 east
Hotbird @13 east
Hispasat @ 30 west.

Yes I can get Astra 2 @ 28.2 east
Astra 1 @ 19.2 east
Hotbird @ 13.0 east
Hispasat @ 30.0 west

Look in the satellite data base for Thor @ 0.8 west or Intelsat 10-02 @ 1 west

Follow these instructions
1/Menu
2/Motorised Setting
3/Now move the cursor to position settings then press ok & tell me what is there.

Your actual reference is Your location Nottingham is approx 52.9500° N, 1.1333° W That translates to 52.9 North 1.1 west

Can you scan @ 0.8 west 10777 H 24500 & add BBC World to your data base if it is not already there then tell me the signal:-Level & Quality readings in Advanced search.

I'll just go and do that now!!
 
Then go to 28.2 east & scan 10773 H 22000 for BBC tv if not already there give signal quality reading here,

Now go to 30 west & scan 10730 H 27500 for God tv & add this to your data base if not already there give signal quality reading here.

I have to scan the whole satellite 28.2 east and then 30 west, I can't scan single settings such as 10730 H 27500, I have to scan the whole satellite, so give me a few minutes!! Then I'll come back with the signal quality for these two satellites!!
 
Don't forget the signal readings for 0.8 west BBC World as I need this to evaluate your set up.
 
Admin may want to move this thread as the TM7100 is a non Linux TM
