And it goes to 28E when you select a channel on 28E?

Right gang here is the problem, dish moves perfect with the tm5200-super box but only moves to 28.2e on the dm800, ive tried several images, a any suggestions guys, its like the box isnt sending the signals down the cable, my box is the new sunray4 dm800se

The 13v and 18v command are being sent to the motor ok. my next step would have been reflashing but you've done this so i would send the box back as its the weak link.the last thing i will add is to reset the motor via the reset button on the motor

Is the DM800 a clone, or genuine?
If you check the dreambox section, I seem to remember, there have been a few problems, with some clones, regarding them not having sufficient power to move some motors.

As I mentioned a few times in the other thread, the problem is with your settings. You only have position 1 configured, which you said was 28E. You need to configure every satellite with its corresponding position number, else the dish won't move to anywhere by 28E. What is 19E stored under on Technomate? Then that's the same position number you should use in your Dreambox....

I have merged the two Threads, which are essentially about the same issue, in order to avoid confusion.

I don't have a DM800 but, before ruling the box faulty or unable to power the motor reliably, it does indeed seem clear there are issue with position settings.

Until those are rectified, there seems no point in eg returning/replacing the box.

I am not sure i follow you there you downloaded catseye settings and then did a scan on 0.8° west, No need to scan the Catseye channel list already has an up to date channel settings in there already for 75° east to 58° west. You just need to load it on the DM800 and watch a channel no need for any scans
