Technomate motor not moving with dm800

They are the same thing (i.e. use the same protocol) but work differently. A bog standard DiSEqC 1.2 simply sends memorised positions to the motor which then moves to that position (1, 2, 3 etc). USALS on the other hand sends the satellite position angle to the motor based on what you enter as your coordinates... So because of this, the set up in the menu is quite different.
 
Are you going to show some screen grabs of your tuner settings? like you have been asked 3 or 4 times? |So people could actually help you.

i got mine yesterday, works like a dream.. lol
 
right i tuned 28.2e manually on the box but when i turned on usuals it wouldnt hit the sat and when i try to tune in 1west it just went full steam ahead to lock as far west as it could go, wouldnt move manually and when i wanted it to go back to 28.2 it did so itself View attachment 43651View attachment 43652
 
Your second picture looks ok, apart from i would have "increased voltage = yes", AND HOW COME ITS LNB 2? and have you done every sat you want the same? as in once you clicked ok for 28e, you then scrolled to the right for the next sat then changed lnb to the same, and so on.

moved the other 0.8west to lnb 2 to tune it via usals and in went on by and locked fully west and wont budge east or west through postioner on the box, ******* annoying
 
go in to te tuner setting and change them all to unset, then start again and put them all to lnb 1. on the second page have you got USE USALS FOR THIS SAT = YES.


JUST NOTICED THE FIRST PIC YOU HAVE USALS SET AS NO!!!!
 
did all that ans reseted the box and not moving a thing now so i decided to plug in my tm5200super and wam bam it moves to the 5 sats i manually saved
 
I think the image has corrupted then, don't think anything is wrong with the box, reflash the image on then set the tuner up again.
 
any good images with all cccam.confi
 
try the -satboxes .com forum, 2 or 3 for dm800se which are good...
 
The one I have is newnigma2 sat4fun

humangoing where do you download cccam settings on ts image?
 
And you have advanced settings set to on. You really don't need advanced when using USALS.

Doubt it's anything to do with the receiver - very much a configuration issue.

But anyway, what satellite is stored at position 1 on the motor if you insist on not using USALS?
