My Technomate TM-5000D was working fine, but I didn't use it for sometime.

Today, I tried to turn it on, but it didn't show anything on the TV!!
Pressing on the Menu button (on the remote) the panel shows "E100", which seems to be an error code (may be I'm wrong!)

Any idea what is happening?

Is it dead?

Appreciate any help.

Have you tried loading/re flashing the original firmware from the TM website?

I've no idea how to do that. I downloaded the latest from the website, but it doesn't have any instructions. It is only the HEX file.

Also, not sure if this can be done without any picture on the TV? (which is the case now!).

Appreciate any comments/links to help solving the problem or at least identifying it.
