Well you can forget searching the Astra 2D channels - your dish isnt big enough. Thats the frequencies between 10714 & 10876

Do a search for the QVC channels on 12032H 27500 2/3 or CNN on 12051V 27500 2/3
 
latest...just powered up my skydigibox and it loaded all the bbc etc channel list, cant watch them obviously but something is going on. Going to try a transpoded default change. Is that the right way forward?

List half a dozen of the fta channels you can see on the TM.
 
no joy with those suggested, i have got channels from 11565v, 11662H, and 11343V so far. Do you think the dish still need tweaking to recieve the others?
 
Can you list some of those Channels .............. your last post mentioned 19E again. We need to be absolutely sure which Satellite you are receiving.

Hook the digibox up again and have a look at the shopping channels up in the 600's.
 
The dish might need tweaking a bit but you are going to be restricted in the channels you can see as your dish isnt big enough for many 28E channels.

If the signal for qvc was being picked up would it be available automatically or do I have to point it at the transponder and save the channel!
 
i may hhave just answered this for my self, just scanned for qvc on 12032H and no signal was reported, so no QVC. Is it possible for the box to scan for all available transponders being recieved or do I need to enter each transponder manually an scan one at a time?
 
latest update, I am getting bbc1 etc, its a bit jumpy and pixilated but you can make out whats going on!.....this cant be right!
 
and again, bbc1 pixilated, pressed the red button for split screen sports and chose the formuls 1 from the choices given, came through clear as a bell! It was what I was watching pixilated on the main channel!

If you want reliable access to the Red Button Streams, use BBC News as the entry Channel.

It was just the 101 BBC, had pixilated formula 1 on so I pressed the red button and it gave me a choice of sports, I chose formula 1 and it cam thru crystal clear. I am also getting bbc radio 1,2,3,4 and 5 live clear as a bell....is this normal?

Also, I was able to get ITV central SW from 12402V along with Anglia W, Yorks E etc but they didn't appear on my channel list. How can I find them or do I need to change the itv1 on my list somehow so it goes to central sw for eg.

Analogue, you are a genius, I have just found them in other channels and now have itv and c4! Shame I cant recieve 11973v or 12070H or any of the HD ones but i am doing a lot better than yesterday, pretty good considering I have a dish from the 80's with a universal lnb taped to the top of a c120 mount! Thanks for all your help.
