Pity because I am happy with the 5402 and if it was able to stream I would get another to make the setup dual lnb. The patch only works to a computer.

Is there a "preferred" patch for the TM-5502 or is the latest one the best to install?
If there is a favoured patch would you please be able to let me know the number and I will see if I can find a download?

The latest patch is the best patch TM-5502-HD- issued on the 23-05-2015

Would you please be able to tell me how to add a new satellite into the list of satellites for the TM-5502? I wish to add 30.8 East (Eutelsat 33A now located at 30.8E) into the list but am not sure how to do this?

I recently bought a TM5502 HD receiver. Good receiver. Seems on a single channel you can watch Multistream. On Eutelsat 12.5West Bike Channel 12541H 28230 according to Flysat / Lyngsat is Multistream. Sound stutters a bit but works fine.
Therefore I conclude from that any new receiver wouldn't need a huge amount of work to make it part of the receiver ???
Any thoughts???
 
I do not think this is a proper multi stream channel as I can get it on the SpiderboxHD9900 & the TM5302HD/5502HD as these receivers are of similar construction,
But alas not on the TM6902HD or TM5402HD M3

If the receivers could resolve 12718 H 36510 5/6
DVB-S2/8PSK
MPEG-2/MPEG-4
Multistream

Then they would truly be Multistream receivers but as work has ceased on all of these no further upgrades will be made available to make this possible sad to say.
 
With regards to the Bike channel on 12.5 west Eutelsat 12 West A this is not a true multi-stream

This information is not correct now as I can clear these channels with the TM5302HD & the SpiderboxHD9900
But not with the TM6902HD or TM5402HD M3 this is because the TM5302HD & the SpiderboxHD9900 are made of a different
Hardware/Software construction that allows the viewing of Bike tv.

William-1 are you saying Technomate will not be bringing out any new receivers that will be able to run multistream?
If not I wonder what they will do next?
 
I do not know what they will be bringing out they are very silent atm ?

i opened biss key menu by pressing MUTE+EXIT.
but i cant understand how to enter this.its different from others.
for example i want to add
ID:GlobeCast Oz
TP:4174 H 7120
SID:0001
no keys on this forum - admin
can help me with this?

How to add a new Biss key to the TM5302HD & TM5502HD:-

Go to the channel you want to clear & make a note of the frequency

Menu
System Information
Now press the Red button "Key Edit"
Move the cursor to the left until you see the Biss menu
Now scroll down the list to make sure that this frequency is not in use in the Biss menu
Press the Green Button to add a new Biss Key

Enter the name ie Sports TV
Provider = Frequency so enter that here
Key Enter 0F here
Key Data (Enter the Biss code here)
Exit to save & Press the Red button to Save / Exit
Exit & Press Yes to save your settings
