Here is the area I need to put up the dish. The concrete area is 190cm long and 150cm wide at the widest point. In the centre part of the area its 95cm wide. So no idea what kind of mount I can install. Can I install mount on artificial grass if its bolted down??

The 2.2 meter (7.5 - 5.3) height would be the bottom of the dish. In that case the pole likely should be higher!

And of course, the pole just needs to be plumb east-west-wise. North-south can be compensated by motor-axis elevation.
So in some circumstances, this could be creatively used to gain height/distance from a high obstacle...

@gap30 did you cut a hole in the artificial grass to feed the pole through, how did you keep the pole solid into the ground??

@a33 so if the pole is not really straight and angled i can still pick up the arc? I thought the pole coming up from the ground has to be straight so the dish can follow arc. If the pole is angled wouldnt that cause any stability issues??

@Channel Hopper the ground looks level but it is angled.
 
An inverted offset dish will provide additional clearance, meaning the post could be slightly lower than the one proposed.

I dug a hole maybe a meter deep and put the pole in filled it with concrete and peeled the grass back and cut around it then sliced it as its pretty close to the edge of the grass

Can I give you a couple of pointers: set your dish up yourself, I only got into this hobby in late 2016 and have literally taught myself how to do this all of the information you need is here on this very informative website

Look at it this way if there ever a problem with your dish you will be always needing someone to put it right, sat meters cost pennies ie GT MEDIA V8 Satellite Finder Meter TV DVB-S/S2: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics

Also just buy a bigger dish lol save yourself the heartache a 1m just does not 'cut it'

And get a PC tuner if you like watching 4.2.2 feeds for the footy, never understood why people buy £2000 tv's and watch crappy feeds on them especially eye pee tv

Several thoughts/questions?
- in that corner, would it be possible to fit some steel bracing bars between the upper part of the mast/pole and somewhere on the fence posts/walls behind it - might mean that the post could be both taller and more stable without the base mount being very large?
- given the fences/walls behind the post, I am not sure how wide an arc you will be able to swing the dish through without the edges hitting "something" and so I doubt that any dish bigger than 1m would really be "viable" for what you might want to achieve.

If the dish is on a 2.2m pole then then it should bypass the surrounding fence. 1m is the maximum i would go on a 2.2 m pole. I will have to look around for some suitable base mounts that will provide stability.

@william-1 where did you buy that base mount with adjustable feet, cant seem to find it online? If i can find a adjustable base mount that i can attach a 2.2 m pole then might work, as long as the base isnt too wide

The sat ground mounts are expensive. I think I might end up doing what you did. How high is that pole sticking out from the ground? I’m thinking of getting 2.5 m pole then dig 50cm hole so at least the dish can stand on a 2 m pole. How much did it cost you for that pole?
 
Based on experience here (and with the dishes in relatively sheltered locations, I don't think a 50cm deep hole will be anywhere near deep enough for a 2.5m pole (especially a large diameter one) unless you can add braces near the motor (as I have done) because, as said before, the weight of a 1m dish and motor will cause it to bend slightly and the wind will just "make things worse"
 
50cm isnt anywhere near deep enough if its going to be a free standing dish - the first decent gale will have dish & mount over

You are going have to keep on digging for a hole about 3 feet /1 mtr approx deep & pack with compacted rubble at the base then filled with quick setting post cement making sure that it stays level with a spirit level & 3 guide wires well secured in the ground until the cement sets.

If i search for 3m scaffold pole 75mm diameter would that be strong enough for 1 m dish and motor? I searched google but would only return results for 48mm scaffold at 3m.
 
@Red alert - and others!

I don't know if dishpointer does take into account the off-set dish declination angle. OTOH some of those "others" may know that???
Just checked dishpointer again and noticed at the bottom of the screen has my declination angle as 7.6 degrees. Does that mean the pole doesnt have to be that tall?? See attached

Pole was from FH Brundle which is near you I think off the top of my head it was around £80 for a 6m 76mm galv pole which I got them to cut down into 3 pieces

I can measure it for you but off the top of my head there is maybe 1.2m underground and 1.2m above ground plus I have 10mm stainless steel threaded rod running through the pole in two spots underground to add strenth see the CM installation drawings

So you want to receive 30 West as your most westerly satellite now, and not 7 West, as stated in your opening post?

Maybe you could also setup motorized til 7W, and add a separate dish for 30W at a suitable location?

What part of the house and the (garden) ground in the picture are actually yours?
Must the dish be on ground level, or can you fix a pole to front or back of your house (high up the wall? Or maybe at the roof)?
(For 30W you need about 24 degrees elevation, according to the dishpointer LOS calculation.)
I'm thinking if there might be alternatives for a >2.5 meters pole, which would not be ideal if not fixed to a wall I guess.
