Sounds like a job for Astro and Nextsat to me were they pnp or npn transistors I can probably let then have replacements from my 40 year old componant box

Its hard to understand the excitement the new satellite caused these days when we can easily watch 3 or 4 launches a year live. I somehow cant see a record being created to commermorate the launch of Hotbird 9 next year..... :(
 
Yes I recorded it off of a youtube live video, don't think your is the original by the Tornados though. :)
 
Rolfw's is the original, Analoguesat's is a poor copy. I wore mine out by playing it too often. It used to be played over the tanoy when we were re-equipting Goonhilly One back in the 60's.

:D All I know is my link is off the Telstar Ventures site, (and doesnt have any crackles!) My folks have got a single of it somewhere in amongst all their junk...
