What happened when The Today Show went to local news, was WNBC-TV New York shown?

Have a strange problem.
Maybe i have a shit receiver.

Can search and find both DAD-2 and DAD-5 and go to the channel but i don´t get any picture. Coded channel it says after 15 seconds.

The epg shows "current 01:00-01:00 - 01:00-01:00 next."

When looking at DAD-2 try around 12.30am CET time it will have video since its the news.

DAD-5 wont have any video since its encrypted.

Dad 2 is hard to get a lock on, i find its far easier if you have your digibox set to NTSC, before you change to this channel.

Don´t know how to switch into NTSC.

Should be under System setup. Or picture setup. Your digibox is automatically on Pal-BG, but you should be able to change it. Have a scout round your digibox menus.

What kind of FTA box are you using? The nokia?

I have a conax emeded box. CDC-7000 ST (Handan SV 3500 MP)from swedish Canal Digital.

I can´t find any options regarding PAL or NTSC. I think it´s done in auto or is not supported.

The nokia box have big problem to tune the channels.
The Twinhan pci card cant find any channels. not so sensetive.

Both DAD-2 and DAD-5 says scrambled for me.

11518 H 3744 for DAD-5
11525 H 1500 for DAD-2

Is there any other frequency?

They are not scrambled, they are very fta.

Thats just plain very weird.

It feals like every time i tune in to a weak channel the receiver says that the channel is scrambled. Even thou the channel is receiveble.

Is there any stronger NTSC channel somewhere i can try tune and se if it has something to do with that it´t a NTSC channel that my receiver don´t support or just that my receiver don´t like weak channels.

You can try the Pentagon channel on Hotbird I think thats in NTSC.

I got sound now on my nokia box but the picture i pitch black.
Think its days of your lifes or somthing like that show.

when the set top box don´t support NTSC does the picture become black or does it just go over to a strange picture?

have vpid set to 308
apid is 256 and pcr pid is 8190.

I got lock on my twinhan pci card today. =)¨
It should support 2-45ms/s but have a lock on 1.5 ms/s now =)

Watched the today show thismorning, and saw some clips from tonights jay Leno. I think iĺl stay up to see if he comes on cos it looked quite good. So did the Hiest preview, its a new series premiering tonight o NBC. Hope its on!;)
