RIP Terry....not really a fan of his but still sad news. Blimey, January wasn't a good month was it?

Mark Goodyer is doing a Tribute Show right now on Radio 2.

Started off the playlist with Eva Cassidy's version of Somewhere Over t'Rainbow which really caught the mood.

I never really heard him on the radio as Radio 2 isn't my thing but I certainly remember him fondly from the many TV programmes as I grew up so he will be missed. I only used to watch Eurovision to hear Terry's remarks.

ISTR he was named as investing in the forestation of the Flow Country up in north eastern Scotland when such schemes were available on tax breaks about 15 years ago

He appeared to never take himself or the business he was in seriously. possibly a bit too jokey at times but will be missed by many.

Remember when he first came on R1 on the afternoon show; he was ok but really came into his own on the R2 breakfast show. His understated nonsense eased the journey to work for millions. Another jewel gone

RIP Terry. I used to like watching him on the Eurovision song contest, he got funny as the evening progressed, although this was probably due to the large amount of alcohol consumed as the evening went on. I for one will miss seeing him on the TV
