Cross purposes! I mean who says "British broadcasters must use 2D for anything broadcast in the clear". There are plenty of British broadcasters not using 2D for their FTA services, BBC included.

So does this mean there will continue to be an NDS encrypted version for Sky boxes? Obviously if they just point the EPG at the unencrypted version everyone with a Sky HD box will be able to tune it in simply via the EPG (even if it can't be added to "Other Channels")

Still there Llew, watching it right now on my Technomate 6800. It is encrypted again though. The signal strength is on a par with other high band Eurobird transponders so not sure why others are reporting poor signal levels.

Watching channel4 HD here in Spain, on a 1.9M dish and Humax box
12606V and receiving 80% strength and 60% quality. clear blue sky.
compared to ITV HD 85% strength and 90% quality

Channel 4 is now showing FTA, using the settings in my previous message. But it is not the 55300 though. Try a general scan of 12606V and it shows both Channel 4 & 55300.
