This one is currenty fta on 5E. An unusual sighting as most SIS stuff is normally hidden behind powervu encryption.

The MK on the tc is for Milton Keynes.

Thats not a testcard - thats an info card.

They are probably worthy of their own thread at some point as I have dozens captured on video tape (somewhere in amongst all the tv related junk!)

Test cards are a variant of the colour bar or "circular" type

Ok Im a sad old git but I love testcards of all sorts....

I am not alone!

I have a few creations I'd like to share with folk. TV Testcards (mainly UK testcards, idents and tuning signal screens) I've put together with a little screensaver which allows you to view them randomly in full screen on your computer. Works best for those with older square monitors. Might bring back a few memories for the more mature enthusiast lol

Right Click on the ssmypics.scr and pick configure. Set it to full screen, turn off transitions and browse to the folder to tell it where to find the testcards. Then just double click the ssmypics.scr to run it. It doesn't install, just leave it in the same folder.

For the sad people that want widescreen testcards, I've stretched (altered) a few of the old ones to look correct on widescreen monitors. Not how they should really be seen, but if you don't like black borders and not worried about how correct the testcards are, this is for you.

Excellent Ive found another set of tc's hidden in a forgotten folder on my computer, so first up is one that was on 28E for a while. Babetalk is/was a slapper-on-a sofa channel and this card was transmitted in January 2008.

This tc was part of a loop played out before Italian channel Fox Retro launched onto 13E in July 2009

House Of Fun was another 28E slapper-on-a-sofa channel. From January 2008.
