The Beeb back at 11pm

My Satellite Setup
1.8m dish, freesat HD box, Sky box Pace,
My Location
Sweden
I'm based in Sweden not far from Copenhagen, I've had the Beeb and ITV channels all winter without any problems. since the middle of April I lost them all. All except BBC News, Parliament, Alba. But around 11pm they all seem to appear again.
I checked things with a borrowed spectrum analyser and recieved around 78% signal. Now I aint gotta a clue?:-ohcrap
 
You are having problems with the narrow beam Astra 2D channels. News Parliament & Alba are broadcast on the pan European beams of other craft at 28E. Your dish is probably marginally out of alignment.

The satellite moves around in a box about 100km on each side, and at 2300 it may be drifting back into a favourable position for your dish.

Is that signal strength or signal quality? as it is the quality that is the important figure

Ah yes, my cousin is into all this uniform stuff and indeed called at my house Friday afternoon in his rebuilt American Jeep on his way to Howarth for the annual get together

AArrrghhh, see I need to tread carefully. Anyway thanks guys I have the sat man coming tomorrow to see if he can fine tune things.

Well I found out the problem for no Beebs, there was an enormous Black window about the size of your hand, or was it a scorpion or maybe a hairy tarans it something like that he said....
Whatever it was it was a spider would you believe! lol
 
I can attest that the signals from 2D in stockholm, sweden are much weaker now due to the summer heat now here which adds noise to the atmosphere.

I did have BBC HD 24/7 before the heat arrived, but i now loose it around 8PM and it comes back at 11PM again with some pixelation.
