As I am head of the idiot guide in the Dreambox forum I was delightet to find another place where there is an website where similar values are valued

This is of course the Ren & Stimpy "The Members of the Loyal Order of Stupids" website. vvv.motlos.com


I was a fan from the minute I saw the first episone in the early 90ies, and my two boys are too...

So, lets have it then, what are your favourite cartoons???


P.S Mr Horse is one of my favourites, I hope someone picks it up as an Avatar!!

Yes, Cow and Chicken are high class, but I Am Weasel is also a cracking spinoff. Dexter's Lab is probably the one I've watched the most though

Of course then there are the real cartoons like the Simpsons and South Park, didn't like South Park the first time i watched it, but it certainly grew on me.

Cartoons?

Well it has to be the Simpsons dosn't it?

Prior to that I think that the 50sand 60s Warner Brothers cartoon were brill and let's not forget the wonderful Tom and Jerry - but only the Hanna Barbera ones.

I also had a soft spot for Rocky and Bullwinkle (Stroke, stroke, stroke. Bail, bail, bail). Yeah, I know it was naff but everyone's allowed a "wobble" or two.

Beavis and Butthead, the short sketches, especially The Woodshop, reminded me of my time at school.

Some of the Asian animators have done true magic with the format, from the earliest one I have - The Professional, up to Ghost in the Shell, not seen many since.

For modern stuff, probably Samurai Jack, almost all the episodes are brilliantly scripted and drawn.

Yeah, popeye was my first love, actually convinced me to like spinach...I am a victim of advertising...black and white late 60ies at my granddads black & white tv..

Then there was Buggs Bunny, duffy and Deputy Dawg (anyone remember him, good nabbit??). Simpsons and Futerama are also favourites, but still Ren & Stimpy get the vote for me because it is completely crazy...I just saw a clip of the new episodes called beach party, it is hilarious....
