Anyone got any ideas what might happen to Hotbird 5 (currently known as Arabsat 2D / Eurobird 2 at 26E.
The Arabsat lease runs out lease in April next year. By that time:
1) Arabsat should have their new 4A bird in place at 26E so shes not needed there.
2) Eutlesat should have 7A slotted at 13E, so she wont be needed there either.
I suppose the most logical redeployment would be to 48E to replace the virtually derelict and very wobbly II-F2.
Any further suggestions?
