Our daughter is almost 3 and this is the first Christmas when she is starting to understand the concept of Christmas.

Now not wanting to confuse her we are wanting to keep things consistent so we are looking for some advice on the following-

1) Should it be Santa Claus or Father Christmas ?
2) Should Christmas presents come from mummy & daddy or Santa Claus / Father Christmas ?

How does Christmas work in your house ?

I would definitely go with "Santa Claus".

From memory, even though you ask Santa for things, he brings them for 'mummy and daddy' to give. I think that was how it was worked on me anyway.........

Here we have Father Christmas who brings us presents on December 25, followed by the Three Kings or Three Wise Men who follow suit on January 6. Even when we work it out that it's really Mum and Dad, we keep up the illusion and so the presents never stop!

1/ Mummy & Daddy
2/Mummy & Daddy

Because everyone says we should be honest with the children,so tell her there is no Santa

Only kidding m8,
1/I think Father Christmas is more traditional than Santa Claus
2/You could give some presents from Mummy & Daddy, and maybe something from Father Christmas as well.
I hope the little one has a great time.-PP
