Ive waited all day for that sun to come out and now it has but its still cold.

No sign of it here ..and by all accounts a good 5 to 6 degrees colder than the South ..
CH going on for an hour or so when I get home ..
Like you ..I'm cold.
 
It had better improve tomorrow as Coventry Air Museum is gracing my presence!
 
Waited so long for the sun here that I gave up and bought the Telegraph instead.
 
Oh you Murdoch traitor you... And the suns back in ........back to the tv.
 
It's been quite nice these past few days, not as warm as it could have been, but not cold either, Monday and yesterday were nice in the evenings with all the sun, today was a bit cooler cos the cloud came and spoiled the fun, and I think it's going to be colder by the end of the week, oh well...:rolleyes:
 
Well it is getting near holiday time.......

Beautiful sunny day, temperature hit 20C. no clouds in the sky, had lunch outside.

Did I mention we're in France at the moment?
 
...Cold westerly breeze here most of the day ..
Pleasant-ish in direct sunshine ..and cold in the shade..
and colder is promised tomorrow ..unless one lives darn Saaarf..
 
Good start to Spring on the whole-long may it continue, in a similar sort of vein....

Hmmm........overnight ground frost and 4C when I got up this morning......but then you are nearly 1000km south of me....
 
Yep - and loving it.

Going out to mow the "lawn". Third day and I hope to finish off. It's amazing how much difference sharpening the blade makes.

8 degrees of difference between the NW and the SE today ..as predicted ..and back on with my fleece...
 
Yes, it was cold here and the wife is working from home today as she cannot get into work as her office car park is next to the cathedral where the queen is currently dishing out Maundy Money and she would have to bus it in, she has insisted we have the heating on whereas I just put a fleece on when cold

Ah, you have reminded me I must pay the balance of our Gite Rental very soon: Got a fortnight in a mountain village near Lodeve coming up in mid-June.

Can't wait.
 
Truly fabulous day today: Have managed to trim about half of our boundary hedge (Gouty foot hurts less when I'm active now) and shortly we're going to drive up to the top of the Moor and attempt a short walk. No doubt the cyclists will be out in force, up there, but they're a cut above yer townie commuter.
 
Well it was worth it >> I curtailed my walk a little, leaving SWMBO to cope with the woods on her tod.

But, as we were descending from the Moor, we were blessed with a decent sighting of a Tree Pipit. New arrival, at a guess.
 
Oh, and no pics as SWMBO has quite literally just packed away her Camera. Par for the course!
