ARIANESPACE FLIGHT VA222
THOR 7 and SICRAL 2: LAUNCH DELAYED

During the final count-down operations for flight VA222 slated for today, an anomaly occurred on a conditioning equipment of the launcher. As a result, Arianespace has decided to bring back the launcher to the Final Assembly Building (BAF).

The launch vehicle and its THOR 7 and SICRAL 2 satellite payloads have been placed in stand-by mode and maintained in safe conditions.

The new launch date will be announced later today.

Kourou, April 24, 2015The reconfiguration work and related checkout on the Ariane 5 ECA launcher are now complete.

The new targeted launch date for Flight VA222, to orbit the THOR 7 and SICRAL 2 satellites, is now slated for Sunday, April 26 at 4:37 p.m. local time in Kourou, French Guiana (3:37 p.m. in Washington D.C., 19:37 UTC and 9:37 p.m. in Paris).

btw, I hate telenor (probably like some apparently feel about sky etc in uk), but am wishing full success to all who have worked for years for this launch.

11919 V 28000 7/8 DVB-S in HD from Thor-6

The tp is SD but only valid for HD tuners.
El tp es SD pero solo es valido para sintonizadores HD.
 
13°E 11662 V 27500: Live Kourou Ch3, now with arianespace test card and short promo (SD).
7°E 10959 H 4937: same in HD.
Plenty to choose from!

Promo video:- 11 Ku band transponders for European beam the rest of the Ku & Ka transponders will be use for maritime services from the Atlantic covering the USA East coast to Norway & the Mediterranean Sea.

Confirmed Thor-7 separation completed.
Thor -7 will now climb to 36,000 feet deploy the solar array & start the engines over the next 8 days with testing in 12 days time.
