Seperate 80 cm dish on 28E with a Humax Freesat for SWMBO.

My Location

Because it's the hottest day of the year thus far, I've decided to take my take my 1.2M Laminas off the motor and clean off the mould etc. At the same time, I'll remove the motor, clean that up too and raise it up the mast, placing it above the top mount, which should clear the sun room roof and improve reception of the more easterly sats. Photo of dish and setup prior to applying Cillit Bang with a slightly abrasive scouring pad..

This is clearly NOT spring cleaning as we are half way into July now. So you deserve everything you get! :D

Wish I had done, it would have saved a lot of effort....

Impressive. Looks like new.

My dish never comes up that clean.

An update : I'm afraid I never managed to get the dish re mounted. Partly because of past and impending holidays and other work going on. However, I've decided to remove the LNB and support arms and store the assembly in my tool shed till next Spring. This way it saves me worrying about it during any storms we may experience. Sadly, I only use it rarely now, finding the multisat more convenient.
