Time to update :)

well i went to update my version of Gemini image to the latest one...

and it wouldnt, i come to the conclusion that my flash base image is well out of date... begining of 2005.

so i had 2 images of Gemini on the multiboot... version 1.06 and 2.20

i was using 2.20, ive deleted them all and i am going to update the base image to CVS image ver pb109 released on 26.04.2006
the i intend to put version 2.80 of Gemini on

oh and the other thing i intend to do is use flash 6.3 ... i couldnt access the multiboot because i installed it using version 4.5

i got the images
CVS latest ver
Gemini Letest

and i got FWP 6.3

and i installed the CVS image to flash, no problems
then i went and re setup the communication setup.

at this point after upgrading the front proccessor and choosing PAL, Complex etc etc

i have decided to goto all satellites and download the channels with the Automatic transponder scan....

Why, cos my channel list i WAS going to transfer is over 2 years old!!!

so i am going to get them myself then save them for future use

this is gonna take a while lol

Well after what must have been a stressfull afternoon, Congratulations.
So why not have a look at a few of the other goodies on offer such as PLi Emerald and the Dopie Polar Image both of which are very good images.

wasnt stress full at all, i was thinking of doing a step by step how to guide... for new users of a 7 series Dreambox..

still might do, will write it op in word first, complete with pictures
