hi, When I'm given a frequency for a footy match my receiver does not always have this option in other words I get the freq below and above :( but not the one I want. Any ideas anyone
 
You need to add a new transponder. :)
 
Many boxes when scanning transponders report back a slightly different frequency to what your list is giving you,check on lyngsat to see if the frequency exists,if it is close enough (1 or 2 clicks) you will get the channel you want.
 
How do I add a new transponder, is it through a tm update I've been looking through the menu and I'm not sure what to do. I have the DM patch onboard and I get TPS footy ok but the other night I was given a sat and frequency for Real Madrid match but I did not seen to have that transponder. I have the german and italy fta sports ok.
 
You can maually add transponders, but I have no idea where in the Technomate menu the function is.

Menu, Installation, Advance Search.
Then under NEW TP put in the frequency, symbol rate, polarization, leave FEC as Auto, set search type as FTA, turn Network Search to Off, press OK. Receiver will then search the transponder for any channels.
 
I have 91 preset transponders on 13e but I still cant see a way of putting in a new tp unless it is a tm upgrade.

Finally got it, :D :D the menu has opened, green button, and I can add TP. This will make a big difference another piece of the puzzle sorted. Ta.

I do sometimes miss the obvious, I remember opening the window when my first girlfriend took her clothes off.
