Hi to all of you out there.

I am new to this forum and a newbie with sat TV and Receivers. I am sorry if my posting has already been delt with but I did search the forum but could not find the solution to my problem.

I recently bought a TM 5400 CI+ USB receiver plus a 90 cm dish which I installed. The problem I am having is that all the channels on the Thor 2/3 Satillite are scrambled, after playing about with some settings I could get the gospel channel and BBC World news only. My current setttings are as follows (I am uk based):
Satellite : Thor 2/3
Transpoder : 11.261(H)/24.50
LNB :ON
LNB Type : Universal
LNB Frequency: 9.750/10.750

These settings were copied from someone with a similar dish and receiver. Any help will be appreciated and thanks in advance.

Main DigiTV package on Thor is currently open with third party software.

According to Lyngsat
_http://www.lyngsat.com/1west.html
There are few more FTA channels in the Ku band.
Try a manual scan of these channels and see what happens.
BTW: Why this satellite and not another one full of FTA channels like Astra and hot Bird?
Are you after Canal Digital?

Thank you for your reply. I am mainly into sports i.e. football, Tennis, rugby etc and I would also like to include some movies. However I will try your suggestion

Thanx

You will discover soon enough that without a subscription, you will not find anything worth watching, unless you master many European languages and don't mind dubbing.
