works perfect on Oscam here....

Just follow the how-to:

_http://www.streamboard.gmc.to/wiki/OSCam/fr/examples/Sky_HD_and_MTV-Unlimited

and you will need to google to get the AES keys...

for it in English

What a bleedin badly written article.

Theres only one problem with these how tos - they are not written by/for beginners but by someone who knows all about the service - Ive read through it four times and it still makes bog all sense.

For starters WHY does the page have the instructions for THREE types of card in it???? The writer has forgotten the KISS principle - Keep It Simple Stupid

If you are going to do the instructions for 3 cards have 3 pages OR 3 individual sections.

I've got TNTSat working again. I took AnalogueSats advice and installed the PowerBoard VX image. They have some cams available via the blue button including Oscam. I can't get on with Oscam so I needed to install Hypercam 2.15 to make it work.

With help from people on the PowerBoard forum I manually installed Hypercam 2.15 and it works.

h**p://www.pb-powerboard.com/board/index.php
Hypercam is available on
h**p://www.sat-universe.com/showthread.php?t=213855

The board is nearly all German but there is an International English forum. There is a post there from me which discusses the installation.

You would not think watching foreign tv with a legit card could be so bloody complicated would you?

My TNTSat card was up and running in my VU+ Duo within about 2 minutes (in OSCam). What on earth are you all doing? :D

You can have my configs if you want...

The main reason for me i'm afraid is that i'm true CCCam all the way through. I only use OSCam as card reader and thats it.

Its much the same with Newcs, Radegast and sBox

I like CCCam its simple like me :-lmao

If i have to keep messing around to watch a card then i'm afraid it has to go.

Hmm, I'm a bit of an OSCam convert now - it just seems very robust. Hypercam for me always used to crash (usually in the middle of recording a film...) with the TNT card.

Could it be the card versions? Maybe I have the easiest time because my card is one of the oldest Viaccess 3.0 ones (from summer 2008)?

I have had Hypercam 2.15 running for a few days now and it seems rock solid with reading the TNTSat card on my DM7000. Unlike Oscam there was no need to alter any config files or entering any AES keys etc. How well it works with other cards I don't know. It suits me because I have never had Oscam working after spending many hours trying.

A long time since the last update, but my TNTSat card is still working just fine using Hypercam 2.1.5 on the despised Vu+ receiver.

If the card hasnt been used for a while the softcam will reactivate the card in 30 seconds or so.

Oscam DVB-Api or OSCam to CCCam 2.3.0 is the only way to go really.

Older versions of CCCam don't understand the ecm length. Only version 2.3.0 will work with this card, and only if its decoded by OSCam first.

As far as i'm aware CCCam 2.3.0 on its own hasn't worked for a while.

You need to have all of OSCam's related files configured correctly. Have you done that?

Also, an update for everyone:

I replaced my card in May using the Canal+ online order form. The obviously don't check addresses as I followed what some other guys had said on various forums and shoved my UK address in with a dummy French postcode, paid the 15€ with a credit card, and two days later my new card had arrived!

The new Viaccess 5.0 card wouldn't read straight away in my DM500HD with OSCam, but I shoved it in my official Strong 6410 receiver and it activated instantly (I think this might have been user error as I had to upgrade my OSCam build after this and restart before the Dreambox started clearing channels).

However, the card's been working flawlessly in OSCam with the same configs ever since.

Unfortunately one of the AES keys used by TNTSat has changed and is currently unknown. This now means that M6HD and Arte HD won't open in a Dreambox with an official card. :( All other channels (including the SD versions of the same channels) still open OK.
